Texas Showdown Dance Competition

Entry Fee is per couple and must be paid in advance and are non-refundable

Early registration contestants receive a 3-day event entry bracelet to Shrimporee and official Shrimporee T-Shirt.
Competition will take place at the 74th Annual Shrimporee on the Main Stage at 200 E. Johnson Ave., Aransas Pass, TX 78336.
Competition begins at 12:30 PM | Finale will take place at 3:30 PM | Awards 4:30 PM
All contestants must arrive to the Main Stage and check-In between 11:30-Noon.
Please take into consideration you are arriving to a festival and there may be a large amount of traffic, leave yourself plenty of time to find parking and arrive to the grounds.
Parking is $5.
Contestants must be 18 or older to participate.
The dance competition is a couples competition, solos will not be permitted or judged.
Entries are accepted on a first come basis and are limited by time restriction.
Contestants will receive a day pass to enter the festival grounds.
All participating contestants give permission for any photographs or videos taken during the competition to be used to promote future events.
Competition will be open to the public for viewing
Male Contestant will receive a number and safety pins for judging.
Water will be provided to contestants.

Cash Prize of $300 and trophy will be awarded to 1st place couple.
Cash Prize of $150 and trophy will be awarded to 2nd place couple.
Trophies will be awarded in the following categories: Crowd Favorite, Best Rhythm & Flow, Best Western Flare. You do not have to qualify into the semi-finals or finals to be qualified to win one of the aforementioned trophies/titles.
Females in each of the 5 winning categories will receive flowers.
